Andi Gillespie has been cheering for 12 years, starting at age 9 with New Fairfield Pop Warner. After Pop Warner, Andi cheered on the Varsity squad at New Fairfield High School for four years where she was named captain in her senior year. She also was an NCA All-American Cheerleader and a Class L All-State cheerleader. In addition to cheering for her high school, Andi was a member of the CT Spirit All-Star Senior team for three years and has been a member of the CT Spirit Open team since 2005. She coached New Fairfield Pop Warner at all different levels for 7 years, and took 4 teams to nationals and won 2 state championships. Andi began coaching at the Spirit Zone in 2007 with the Gems. She is First Aid/CPR trained, USASF credentialed and AACCA safety certified. She is currently an undergrad at the University of Connecticut studying Accounting. |
